Hey you! Thanks for coming to my site. In case we haven’t met yet, I’m Phillip and I absolutely love reptile pets. I find everything about them fascinating.
I created Scaly Pets for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, it is to increase the quality of our reptiles’ lives via the education of pet reptile owners. If I can help you become a better reptile owner, then I know your pet will have a much happier life.
Secondly, it is to band reptile enthusiasts from all over the world and build a strong tribe and community where we can share our experiences, including mistakes, achievements, goals, and anything else which is reptile related.
Since I’ve owned an iguana and a Chinese water dragon, I figured it’d be logical to write about iguanas first. But, I definitely won’t be stopping there.
I intend on writing about several reptile pets including bearded dragons, chameleons, and much more, all with the help of professionals such as vets and experienced owners (many of which I’ve met at our annual expos).
